Project Detail
Elara Lounge F-8
F-8 Markaz, Islamabad | Interior & Product Design
Elara Lounge – F-8 Markaz is presented as an interior and product design project with a dramatically different identity from the F-6 branch. The F-8 concept is darker, more theatrical and more visually layered. Black ceilings and reflective dark surfaces form the background, while gold-toned sculptural screens, cage-like pendant lights, illuminated edges and graphic black-and-white flooring create a strong luxury nightlife character. Large glazing keeps the interior connected to the outside and allows the lighting design to become part of the façade experience after dark.

Interior Design
Interior Identity & Spatial Character
- The design uses a dark architectural shell so that gold-toned decorative structures and warm lighting become the primary visual focus.
- Tall sculptural elements with leaf/feather-like profiles are used as screens, markers and repeated motifs, creating a distinctive branded spatial language.
- The open lounge layout is divided through furniture, decorative structures and lighting rather than solid walls, preserving visual continuity across the space.
Inteior Architectural Design
Flooring, Screens & Product Design
- A bold black-and-white chevron/zigzag floor pattern introduces strong graphic movement through circulation zones.
- Gold-toned cage structures and curved screens define seating and focal areas without fully enclosing them.
- Custom bar fronts, partitions, furniture bases and decorative frames extend the product-design language across the interior.
Lighting & Décor Design
Lighting & Decorative Character
- Warm linear lighting is integrated into vertical elements, counters and ceiling zones, outlining the architecture and increasing depth.
- Large cage-like pendant fixtures become decorative objects in their own right and reinforce the metallic design language.
- A dramatic hanging light installation and pink/purple accent lighting introduce a more theatrical hospitality mood.
- Because of the extensive glazing, the illuminated interior reads strongly from outside, supporting nighttime visibility.

Key Project Features
Elara Lounge in F-8 Markaz, Islamabad is a dramatic hospitality interior defined by dark surfaces, gold-toned sculptural elements and layered lighting. Unlike a soft neutral café environment, the design adopts a more theatrical luxury language suited to an evening lounge experience. Black ceilings and reflective finishes provide the background for repeated gold screens, curved metal structures, illuminated counters and large cage-like pendant lights. A bold black-and-white chevron floor guides movement through the space, while extensive glazing connects the interior visually to the street. Selective blue and magenta accents add energy, and planting softens the metallic palette. The overall concept is immersive, highly branded and designed to create a memorable nighttime atmosphere.
