Project Detail
Destination Heritage
Peshawar | Façade Uplift
Destination Heritage in Peshawar is presented as a façade uplift project. The design gives a narrow existing frontage a much stronger hospitality identity by introducing a large pointed arch, geometric lattice patterns, colored upper glazing, integrated planting and warm architectural lighting. The concept references regional and Islamic visual language in a simplified contemporary way rather than reproducing historic ornament literally.

Façade Concept
- The large pointed arch is the dominant architectural gesture and visually unifies the upper part of the narrow façade.
- Repeated geometric lattice/jali patterns appear in corner panels, lower feature bands and upper decorative zones, establishing a recognizable heritage-inspired motif.
- The composition is vertically organized so that the building appears taller and more ceremonial despite the limited frontage width.
Architectural Design
Glazing, Entrance & Street Interface
- Upper windows include colored glazing panels that create a stained-glass-like decorative effect and add visual interest against the warm white façade.
- The ground-floor entrance is highly transparent, with large black-framed glass panels and a central door creating a welcoming hospitality frontage.
- The glass entrance allows views into the interior and keeps the lower level visually active from the street.
Project Highlights
Key Project Features
Destination Heritage in Peshawar is a façade uplift project that reinterprets regional and Islamic architectural motifs through a clean contemporary composition. A large pointed arch becomes the central visual element, while geometric lattice patterns introduce texture and cultural character across the façade. Colored upper glazing adds a stained-glass-like accent, and a planted ledge softens the architectural mass. At street level, a wide black-framed glass entrance creates transparency and a more welcoming hospitality presence. Warm wall lighting highlights the key decorative elements after dark. The result is a compact façade with a stronger identity, improved visibility and a clear connection to heritage-inspired design language.
